NEW SPRING/SUMMER 2020 COLLECTION

Hello girls!

After a few months of hiatus on the blog, we are back stronger than ever! And it couldn't be any other way than with this new post , which makes us especially excited, since we are going to present our third collection: CARMEN .

As many of you know, Alenia came to life in 2018, and since then we have been growing little by little, and all thanks to you . Despite the situation in which we currently find ourselves in our country, we are not going through very nice days, but... you know what? this only serves to make us stronger and stronger! and we are going to continue working hard to keep Alenia more alive than ever .

Inspired by Spain , the new collection is made up of 18 exclusive designs , made entirely in Galicia. In addition, it is not only about dresses for special occasions or events, you will also find versatile garments that can be combined in a more informal way for day to day. These are elegant garments with great personality that maintain the evolution of the time, moving away, in a certain way, from the clichés.

Do you want to know what inspired the designer to create this wonderful collection?

Carmen , as one of the most popular names in our country, has a very special meaning behind its six letters. Under this name was a great woman from A Coruña born in the 20s, who transmitted her great passion for fashion to her granddaughter Alejandra Fandiño, founder of Alenia. Dedicated in body and soul, she combined her work in the textile world with the fight for women's rights. For this reason, Alejandra decided with this new collection to pay a special tribute to her grandmother.

In addition to this emotional component, Carmen, apart from being the name of the new collection, is also the name of one of the star ensembles. Accompanied by other typical Spanish names such as Lucía , Elena or Marta , which give their names to the other models, this new collection is inspired by our culture and the wonderful landscapes that make up our land.

In the collection there is no middle point, we have opted for dresses with pronounced V necklines, or the opposite, the halter .

The cuts that fit at the waist hug the figure of the woman, without constricting. The dresses and skirts are long or midi.

 In addition, we have chosen the trending prints : romantic florals or striking silhouettes.

But calm down! We have also thought about the softest ones , and we have designed dresses in solid colors, in pastel tones like our Lucía model or in more striking tones like our Valeria or Emma models.
