Trends: This year say yes to pants.
It was at the end of the 19th century when women began to wear pants. The world was changing, the industry was creating new jobs and women joined the revolution. They wore them on the farms, the first to ride horses, often the aviators and some actresses like Marlene Dietrich and Katharine Hepburn in the 1930s were also photographed with them. But it wasn't until the 1960s that women's pants entered fashion to stay.
Many women have dressed them as a way to show character, security and above all comfort. The way in which it lengthens the legs, cinches the waist and even raises the buttocks is unique, exalting the female body. It exalts any anatomy and demonstrates notoriety and elegance.
This year the celebrities have warned us and the catwalks have confirmed it, be it palazzo or jumpsuit, pants are a trend. Last year's Street style included these designs and at Alenia we have followed a single rule: the taller and wider, the more sophisticated and elegant. We can wear them with sneakers, ankle boots, sandals, pumps... they are perfect for going to the office and sneaking into the fashion event afterwards or having a drink with friends or seeing our date on Friday.
Depending on how you wear them, they can be super-elegant or seem hyper-informal, always highlighting the best curves, dressing us with style and accompanying us with a versatile and very comfortable fall in a multitude of looks.
Some garments come, others pass without pain or glory and others arrive to stay forever. Wearing pants does not mean that you have to wear the same jean style as always or the same suit of a lifetime. This year's must have allows you to play with elegance at events and seeks comfort in the guest. Get away from the basics a bit and play with the trends.
Let yourself be seduced by the palazzo for its fall, its movement and manage to give that impressive touch to your look. If Meghan Markle wore them at Wimbledon and Victoria Beckham has declared herself a fan, it's a matter of launching into this season. If you want to go different, comfortable and stylish, do not hesitate to dress them. Put on high heels, your favorite sneakers or trendy wedges and stomp this season.
Who said pants were for men?
