Make up French style to be the perfect guest
Many of you already know what Paris inspires us and everything that has to do with the style of Parisians, its music, its streets, its shops, its cafes... but there is something that we also love, especially to make you shine even more. More like the perfect guest…THE MAKEUP!
Parisians have a completely different makeup style than ours and have always been admired for exuding natural elegance and for their sense of aesthetics, what's more, they are known for inventing effortless. The French, to achieve their perfect guest look, opt for a makeup that is as natural as possible. Soft tones, pink lips and a bitten effect, loose hair with natural waves… We love the combo that they do of makeup + hairstyle to be the perfect guest.
Normally, they don't wear much makeup or rather…nothing!! If they have something, it is a good moisturizer, a concealer for pimples, in the area of dark circles and on the wings of the nose and/or a BB cream. If you need to use a foundation, mix it with a bit of moisturizer to soften the effect even more.
EYES
As for the eyes, thanks to the book La Parisina by Inés de la Fressange we have been able to learn that it is a maxim among all French women to avoid pearly eye shadows. Inés says "They enhance crow's feet and feel bad, even to the youngest skin." If you want to achieve the messy effect of the French, apply a matte eye shadow but do it with your fingers so that the eye looks less heavy. Then apply a light coat of mascara to open up the look more and…ah! Do not forget to comb your eyebrows upwards to achieve a much more youthful effect on your look. If you want to mark them a little more, fill in (with the tone of your eyebrow) the gaps between the hairs to give the eyebrow much more consistency.
LIPS
As for the lips, why don't you opt for a pinkish color with a bitten lip effect? What you should do to get that effect is to apply the lipstick with your fingers and touch it. Play with lipsticks that are in fruity tones. And to be the perfect guest at night? We recommend a red lipstick for a more elegant air characteristic of the French and a cat-eye as a final touch.
@santandercondoblel, one of our Alenia Girls has opted for a super elegant makeup for the red Giulia dress. As we have mentioned, the best thing to give an elegant touch to the look are hydrated red lips, a bit of a black line and marked eyebrows. What else is needed to be the perfect guest?
What do you think of these #tips? We hope they are useful to you. Tell us in the comments if you usually use this makeup to be the perfect #guests
A hug,
Alenia
